Today I visited Healing Field at Tempe Beach Park, which is a memorial to those who were killed on September 11, 2001. One American flag is posted for each of the victims. For those fallen policemen and firemen, a pair of boot was placed under the flag. If the victims are children, a teddy bear was there. There were no waving fists, no shouting slogans for revenge, and no burning of any book or flag. The theme is healing.
