St Saint Louis Cemetery 1-3 are Roman Catholic cemeteries in New Orleans, Louisiana. All of the graves in the cemeteries are above ground because the city is below the sea level and once a while flooding happens. Cemeteries #1 and #2 are listed as US National Register of Historic Sites and many well-known historic figures were buried there (e.g. Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau and Dominique You).  In spite of their fame, #1 and #2 are in a bad shape. If you are more interested in architecture than history, #3 is a better place to visit.
