Location: Historical Park, Jerome, Arizona Date: 1998 Equipment: Nikkor 28-85 mm Technique: I was inside the Historical Park Museum and the scene was behind a window. To avoid the reflection, I put my lense as close as possible to the glass. In addition, I waited until the sun was covered by clouds, because without the bright sun, the darker sky and the white steps were in sharp contrast. |

Technique: |
In this photo I used an uncentered and imbalance composition. First, the subject is placed at the edge. Second, the subject occupies much smaller area than the background. Nevertheless, several contrasting elements, such as softness Vs. hardness, curved shapes Vs. rectangular shapes, and dark color Vs. light color, make the subject outstanding. |
