Mount Vesuvio is the volcano that buried Pompeii and Herculaneum. There are two routes to Mt. Vesuvio: via Pompeii or via Herculaneum (Today it is known as Ercolando). The latter route is much shorter and this is the one I took.

Sorrento is a city near Pompeii.
