Where is the best spot for taking picture of the Gold Gate
Bridge? Some people recommend Mari Headlands while some suggest Fort Point. I
visited both places and my preference is the latter. Fort Point is a fortress
located at the southern side of the Golden Gate Bridge. The fort was built before
the American Civil War by the United States Army to defend San Francisco Bay. Although
I can see the entire bridge from the viewpoint of Mari Headlands, the finished
product is nothing more than another postcard-like photo. In contrast, Fort
Point offered me a fresh angle. I went there twice. In the first visit the sky
was clear but in the second one it was extremely foggy. I became David
Copperfield because I made the bridge disappear in midair.
