I used a very primitive method to create this effect: Long
exposure and optical distortion. The ISO was set to 6 and the shutter
was open for 30 seconds. I moved around my pair of glass in front of
the lenses. The precursor of Kodak DCS Pro SLR/n is Model 14n, which
was severely criticized for its incapability of long exposure.
Obviously this problem had been remediated.
