Borobudur is a 9th-century Buddhist temple located in Central Java, Indonesia. This world's largest Buddhist temple is composed of nine stacked platforms, 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. In 1982 Borobudur was included into the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was also on the old list of the Seven Human-made Wonders of the world. I went to Borobudur twice. During the regular hours the site is packed with tourists and thus it is almost impossible to take a clear picture of the monument without people scattering around the scene. To rectify the situation the next day I got up at 3:00 am and arrived at Borobudur by 4:30 am. A lot of photographers had already set up their tripods at the best spots, and fortunately my tour guide saved a good spot for me.
