| There are three reasons to rotate the canvas of the lower right picture:
- The grass in the background is on a slope. It gives a false impression that I am not able to hold the camera still to keep the horizon straight . A rotation helps to correct this mis-perception.
- The little girl leans toward one side. Rotating the canvas emphasizes her cute posture.
- The photo is printed on a 8X10 paper. When enlarging a negative to a 8X10 print, cropping is inevitable. Since the trees in the background naturally "frames" the subject, cropping would upset the composition. To rectify the situation, I rotate the canvas and let the entire picture being included inside the 8X10 box.
