Willis Creek Canyon, Peek-a-Boo Canyon, and Spooky Canyon are parts of the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument, which spans across 1.8 million acres of land in Arizona and Utah. These canyons are not easily accessible because the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the agency that administer the national monument, set preservation as the priority. Without a SUV, getting there is very difficult, if not possible. Physical fitness is another obstacle because both Peek-a-Boo and Spooky are very narrow. In some portions the gap is only one foot wide and also rock-climbing skill is required. Nonetheless, hiking there is a very memorable experience.
