Lower Calf Creek and Kodachrome Basin State Park are very accessible. The former one is an easy hike: the length of the round trip is just 6-mile and the trail is relatively flat. As expected, Kodachrome Basin State Park have paved roads and facilities. There are 67 sandstone chimneys scattering around the area. It is also an ideal location for astrophotography because the silhouette of a pillar could be an interesting foreground against the starry sky.
