Monument Valley is picturesque under almost any weather condition.
During the rain, the dark cloud generates a mystical atmosphere.
After the rain, scattering ponds create mirror images of the
natural monuments. It is important to note that the best way to
cruise around the valley under bad weather is by joining a
private tour. The "totem pole" in the above picture cannot be
reached without a Navajo tour guide. The experienced tour guide
drove a 4X4 on a creek to take us there. Don't try it on your own
car!
