Visiting the Santa Barbara International orchid festival is an eye-opening experience. Orchids is a large family with a very diverse variation in shapes and colors. Before the show, I didn't know that Vanilla is a type of orchid. I used a Tamron macro lenses on a Sony Nex-7 to take close-up photos of the orchids. Because using a tripod is disallowed by the organizer, the sharpness of these pictures is not ideal.
