Title: | Red
| Location:
| St Paul, Minnesota
| Date:
| 1989
| Equipment: | Nikon 200 mm, Red filter on the flash
| Technique: | If I put the filter on the lens, the entire area of the picture, including the background, would be red. Instead, I put the filter on the flash to enhance the contrast and make the subject outstanding. Because the flash cuts off the power when the light beam hits the first object and bounces back to the flash sensor, only the subject is red and the background is dark. |
