The concealed flowers on the top and the arms of a Saguaro are called buds. The buds open into white flowers in the middle of the night, but closes the following day. Thus, I got up at 5:00 am and drove to Saguaro National Park in the early morning. Besides capturing the image of white flowers before their closing, I also wanted to avoid the heat. After 11:00 pm, the temperature would rise to 100 degree.
