The first two photos were taken at
Desert Botanic Garden, Phoenix with the guidance of Wilson Wyatt. I knew
that a long exposure exceeding 30 seconds in a digital camera would lead
to sensor overheating and digital noise. Before going to the garden, I
searched my house for my film-based cameras and at last I found the good
old Nikon N8008. At first the camera appeared to be functioning, but at
the garden the Nikon quitted working. I had no choice but sticking with my
digital camera. As I expected, every time after taking a long exposure,
the LCD showed this message: "sensor is overheated; allow it to cool
down." If you have put aside a camera for a decade, don't be surprise if
it is not working!
