Morro
Bay is a seashore city in San Luis Obispo County, California, USA. The
city's most well-known landmark is Morro Rock, a 576 foot high volcanic
rock away from the shoreline. The city is blocked by mountains, and in
summer due to temperature differential between the mountains and the
ground the city is foggy in the morming and evening. Sometimes the fog
lasts almost the whole say. I went there twice (July 2 and 3) but
was unable to get a clear view of the rock.
