The first
photo on this page depicts
Anapai, a pearl farm in the
ocean. In French Polynesia,
pearl farms come in two
different setups: some are
situated independently in the
open ocean, while others are
connected to land, depending on
weather conditions and other
factors. The last several
photos, which resemble abstract
art, were taken underwater. My
primary goal was to capture
images of coral reefs and
tropical fish, but occasionally
pointing the camera upwards
yielded intriguing patterns.
