Stopping at Lake mead was not considered a major part of my
family's Independent Day's vacation. After spending several days in
the Trona Pinnacles, Death Valley, and Las Vegas, we headed back to
Arizona on July 6. Needless to say, the traffic jam was extremely
terrible. I planned on killing time in Lake Mead while waiting for the
traffic to clear up. I was surprised to find such a picturesque view
in Lake Mead as shown above.
