Red Rock Crossing is one of the best locations to view the Cathedral Rock
at Sedona. Why is it named "Red Rock Crossing"? The picture here is
self-explanatory. You must step on the rocks in order to cross the river.
Many trails are not accessible from the other side of the stream and the
park tells the hikers to go "at your own risk." There were four people in
our team but three of us decided not to take the risk. Although I
successfully crossed the river, I dropped my tripod into the water. After
reaching the other side, I hiked alone for a hike but turned back shortly.
