Holi is a festival originated from India. On that day Hindus celebrate the turn of winter into spring by throwing pigments on each other. This custom is adopted by many playful Americans and has become a theme for photo events (This one was organized by Inland Empire Photo Group). But it is important to point out that the photographer must use a telephoto lens and stand away from the actions, otherwise I would receive a big bill from the camera repair shop. But if you need an excuse to tell you wife why you need a new camera, go ahead to stand at the activity center.
