| Before the total sunset, I was so lucky as to catch the moment of the spilt-lighting: the volcanic rock formation in the background was shed by sunlight while the foreground was in the shadow. The background was also in the shadow right after I took the photo! |
When I arrived at Point Reyes, it was extremely foggy. I was about to give up any hope of taking a usable picture. Near the park exit I saw this dreamy scene. I stopped the car and took this picture in a second. |
