Little Painted Desert

If you live in Arizona, USA, you may think that these pictures were taken in Painted Desert, Petrified Forest National Park. Not really. Actually this is Little Painted Desert near Winslow. The place is well-marked but is relatively unknown. Searching it via AAA or Point of Interest in a GPS will be in vain. It is on Highway 87 North after passing I-40 and before reaching Second Mesa.
