Wuyishan located in Fujian, China is a double World Heritage site (natural and cultural) recognized by UNESCO in 1999. The natural site is the Wuyi National Park while the cultural sites include the original cultivation ground of the Grand Red Gown tea, a villa used by Zhu Xi, a Confucian scholar during the Southern Song Dynasty, and the ruins of the Min-Yue Nation. The first day of our visitation was a rainy day, but it was a blessing in disguise. To be frank, without the rain and the mist Wuyishan just looks ordinary, but the rain turned every photo into a Chinese ink-based painting.
