Use Sepia and Blue Tone
to Create Antique Effect
in Paint Shop Pro

Besides Adobe PhotoShop, Paint Shop pro can also be used to create a sepia effect. In addition, you can make the photo more grainy to increase the "antique feeling." The procedure will be illustrated with the following picture as an example:

• Choose Colorize from the pull down meny Colors

• Leave the hue at the default level and increase the saturation level to about 40.

• Press Proof to preview the image.
  

• When you are satisfied with the result, press OK to accept the change. The altered image should look like the following.
  

• Like adjust variation in PhotoShop, this feature also allows the user to colorize the picture in different colors:
  

• Click on the airbrush icon. Choose mist as the airbrush pattern.

• Adjust the shape, size, density, opacity, and step as indicated in the following:
  

• Spray the entire canvas and the picture should look like the following:
