Anthem Arizona

On November 11, 2011 the opening ceremony of the Anthem Veterans Memorial was held in Anthem, Arizona. The Memorial is composed of five pillars, which symbolizes the five branches of the US military. The crescendo of the ceremony was supposed to be at 11:11 am when the sun’s way passed through the windows of the five pillars and illuminated a mosaic of the Great Seal of the US. However, on that day it was very cloudy and consequentially no sun’s ray was observed at 11:11 am. Nonetheless, I still managed to take some good pictures of the Memorial.
