The Vertical Garden is located outside CaixaForum museum, Madrid, which was opened in 2008. The Vertical Garden is attached to the exterior walls of a building converted from a 1899 power station. This unusual garden was designed by Swiss architects Herzog & Meuron. It carries 15,000 plants from more than 250 different species. The museum inside is also visually intriguing. The photos above were taken near the entrance and the stairs.
