Note

Tumacacori is one of the many churches built by Spanish missionaries during the 16-19th century. In late 19th century the church was abandoned and local residents removed whatever they wanted from the church. The edge of the church was deliberately softened by me to emphasize its vanishing role in history.

Note

Foodstuffs were stored in the granary for distribution to the village residents by the priests. 593 burial were recorded between 1775-1825.
