In New Mexico many Catholic chapels were built in the form of
Adobe architecture (top). "Adobe" is the building style used by
Pueblo Indians and was named by Spaniards. Taos Pueblo (left) is a
typical Adobe village, which was built 1000 years ago. Today a small
number of Indians who refuse modern convenience still live in this
village. At first I took this picture because I was fascinated by the
harmonious tone generated by the blues. Just before I left, I saw
a dog lying in front of the door. This can enhance the "stillness" of
the village and thus I include the lying dog in the picture.
