I went to International Floral Expo held in
Taipei with very high expectations. I even brought my macro lens and
tripod in attempt to take close-up pictures of flowers. However,
it was raining in Taipei all the time. Needless to say, I could not take
any acceptable photos of the outdoor exhibition. But surprises were just
around the corner. Although many indoor exhibitions are unrelated to
flowers, visiting them is still eye-opening. And the bad weather might be a
blessing in disguise. Usually it is extremely difficult, if not
impossible, to get a ticket for the Dream Gallery, the most popular site
of the exhibition. It is different in a rainy day. On that day we
arrived at the line around 9:00. After 45 minutes we got an appointment
at 2:37 pm. The Dream Gallery shows virtual flowers and vases generated
