N
o, the "white stuff" in the top seven photos is not ice. Look at the location and you can tell what it is. The Bonneville Salt Flats and the Great Salt Lake are relics of ancient Lake Bonneville, which was formed during the last ice age. Wind and water work together to create the flat surface of salt. The salty water is very swallow and you can walk into it, of course. But you will get salty feet.
