t first I passed by this scene without taking a shot. But on my returning trip, I recognized the implied diagonal line formed by the plant in the foreground and the tree in the middle ground, and also the contrast between the big and small boulders.

I
n this picture, the saturation is pushed to an unrealistic level. I like the tension generated by the warm color of the rock and the cool color of the water. In some sense it is "realistic" because that is exactly how I felt when I went to the lake under 95 degree.
