At first I passed by this scene without taking a shot. But on my returning trip, I recognized the implied diagonal line formed by the plant in the foreground and the tree in the middle ground, and also the contrast between the big and small boulders.

In this picture, the saturation is pushed to an unrealistic level. I like the tension generated by the warm color of the rock and the cool color of the water. In some sense it is "realistic" because that is exactly how I felt when I went to the lake under 95 degree.
