Tonto Natural bridge is said to be the largest travertine bridge in
the world. Travertine is a form of limestone deposited by mineral
springs. In Tonto Natural bridge there are several small
"waterfalls" that act as the agents of shaping the landscape.

Travertine formation can appear in different ways. For example, the
            geothermal areas of the
            Yellowstone
National Park are resulted from travertine deposits.
            Turner Falls,
the tallest waterfall in Oklahoma, is a cascade of spring water
            flowing over a travertine cave.
