Cedar Break

No, it is not Bryce Canyon. The location of these two photos (top and right) is Cedar Break National Monument. Actually, several national parks in Utah and Arizona are situated along a region called the Colorado Plateau. The movements of the rock layers in this region formed a feature called the Grand Staircase. When you drive around 89 and I-14, you can see a series of colorful (Colorado) mountains and hills stretching between Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. That's why I never fell asleep while driving along this region.

Coral Pink

Most travelers aimed to visit Zion National Park, but just about 26 miles away from Zion, there is a state park known as Coral Pink. The name signifies the colors of the sand dunes in the park. Being surrounded by the sand dunes is so wonderful that I thought I was in Sahara and hence forgot the chill in November.
