Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada is next to Glacier National Park. In 1932, Sir Charles Arthur Mander on behalf of Rotary International named the two parks Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park for promoting world peace. The Peace Park was designated by the United Nations as Biosphere Reserves in 1976, and in 1995 as World Heritage sites.
The attractions in Waterton, including Waterton Lake, Cameron Lake, Cameron Falls, Prince Wales Hotel, and Red Rock Canyon, are easily accessible. I could visit all of them in one day.
