The last two photos on this page were taken at 11:00 PM in Anchorage. In summer there is virtually no night time in Alaska. Even after the sunset the sky never went completely dark, and thus I could enjoy a “white night.” The sunrise time is around 4:00 am and therefore in theory I could photograph both sunrise and sunset within a few hours. But I didn’t because I needed to catch a bus at 6:00 AM.
