South Mountain in Phoenix has two special landmarks: Fat man's Pass
and Hidden Valley. The former is a narrow passage between two big
rocks (not shown here). The latter, which is very picturesque, is a
wider passage, but the so-called "roof" is just made of stacked
rocks. The last picture with a special effect is for fun only. South
Mountain is located in the city of Phoenix, and needless to say, it
is highly accessible. From the parking lot to the hidden valley, it
takes just 45 minutes to one hour.
