Some of these icebergs have stripes, which
resulted from snow's reaction to different conditions. Green stripes
are created when an iceberg falls into the sea, thereby encountering
salty sea water. If the sea water is rich in algae, it will form a
green stripe.
Some
photographers take picture of the same spot in Antarctica every year
in order to monitor the receding glaciers. No one can tell what would
happen to Antarctica ten years from now. It is time to think about
what we should do to save this beautiful and irreplaceable gift from
God.
