Paria Rimrocks

Red Hoohoo Hoodoo Garden Toadstool Trail, Utah August 2010 White Hoodoo   Although red hoodoos found in Toadstool Trail, also known as Paraia Rimrocks, are not as unique as white hoodoos near Big Water, Utah,  red hoohoos are easily accessible in terms of both driving time and hiking time. The trail head is just 20 miles away from Lone Rock, Lake Powell, or 12 miles away from Big Water, and the trial length is just 0.6 mile one way. However, this fun place is rarely visited by hikers or tourists. Interestingly enough, in both hikes to white hoodoos and red hoodoos, my team did not meet anyone except some German tourists.
